About the IBD Center

Our IBD center is conveniently located on the premises of Newton Wellesley Hospital, in the outpatient building. This allows easy access to the hospital and endoscopy facilities if an endoscopic evaluation needs to be performed urgently. Our medical and administrative assistants work hard to ensure that patients get efficient care. They schedule consultations and radiological studies, obtain insurance authorizations, communicate with pharmacies and serve as liaisons between patients and physicians. Our surgical and nutrition consultants are available on site and can accommodate consultations on the same day. The center also incorporates an infusion room staffed with a highly trained infusion nurse who administers intravenous biologic therapies and monitors patients during the infusions. Our center provides cutting edge care in a comfortable and friendly environment.
